Chiang Mai province is full of wonderful arts and architecture.
In Chiang Mai city, you can visit the Phra Sae Tang Khamani
Crystal image at Wat Chiang Man, the first temple built
in Chiang Mai in 1297. Wat Chedi Luang, which used to enshrine
the Emerald Buddha, is the 2nd largest pagoda in Thailand,
and has the City Pillar, called Inthakhin. Wat Phra Singh,
with its small sculpture collection or ho trai, is the home
of the elegant phra Sihiing, the sacred Buddha image for
the people of Chiang Mai, and you will also see the fascinating
Golden Conch Mural or viharn Lai Kham. Finally, we will
take you to Wat Suan Dok where the shrine to all the Chiang
Mai Kings is kept.
