First Day
|
Departure from Chiang
Mai by truck at about 9.30 am. Drive for 40 minutes to a local market
to buy food and then another 1 hour to the start of the trek. Stop
for lunch. Then trek for about 3.30 hours to Lahu village, trek
through the lovely countryside, visit Meo hilltribe village on the
way. Stay overnight at the Lahu village. |

Second Day:
|
After breakfast
we trek through the rugged jungle for 2 hours, to another Lahu village
for lunch. After lunch we trek for about 1.30 hours to a waterfall
at here we will have a good relax and enjoy a refreshing swim. After
that we trek another 1 hour to our private accommodation (Bamboo
hut) We have dinner and spend the night here. |

Third Day:

After breakfast
we trek another 1.30 hours to the elephant camp. Stop for lunch.
After lunch we will enjoy an elephant ride for 1 hour an exciting
white water rafting along MAE TANG river for 1-1.30 hours. Then
drive to Akha village, return to Chiang Mai with happiness around
5.00 p.m. |

ITINERARY |

Departure from Chiang Mai at
8.30 a.m. Take the truck and drive for 1 hour to Lisu village take
a rest and look around the village and then another 30 minutes drive
to the elephant camp for lunch. After lunch we will enjoy an elephant
ride for 1 hour. After that we trek for 30 minutes to a waterfall
and enjoy a refreshing swim. Then we trek through the rugged jungle
for 1 hour to the rafting camp take a rest. After that an exciting
white water rafting along the MAE TANG river for 1-1.30 hours. Drive
to Akha village, return to Chiang Mai with happiness around 5.00

Day 1: |

travel by truck to the local market. We shop for supplies then drive
to the Elephant Camp. Elephant ride through the dense forest for
1.30 hours to the Meo village, stop for lunch and visit the village.
Then we take a 2.30 hour hike to the Karen village where we spend
the night |

8.00 a.m. Have breakfast. Hike
for about an hour to the waterfall, take a swim and relax. Another
hour hike to the rafting camp and lunch. Down the Maewang River
on a bamboo raft for two hours. Dry off back to the truck Arrive
back in Chiang Mai at about 5.00 p.m. |

we drive to a spectacular waterfall, eat lunch by the falls. Hike
for 3 hours to a Karen village where we spend the night. |

8.00 a.m. Have breakfast. Hike
for about 1.30 hours to the peak of the highest mountain, 1900 meters.
Then 1.30 hours down to lunch with the Karen. After lunch enjoy
the village till the late afternoon. Then its 1.30 hours to the
camp by the waterfall and a swim. |

Day 3: |
After breakfast hike for 2 hours along the riverside.
You will see more waterfalls and can stop for a swim. Then we raft
downriver have lunch and meet the elephants. 1.30 hours on the elephant
and back to the truck. Reach Chiang Mai 5 or 6 o'clock. |
